Temporary Traffic Lights at Union Street Central site

As part of the streetscape works on Union Street Central, temporary traffic signals will be installed at the Market Street junction from Monday 10 February to allow the construction site hoarding to be extended.

This is to create enough space to install the final concrete bay in the east section of the construction site. The existing traffic signal post will be removed, and new ducts will be installed below the carriageway.

Once the concrete works are complete, footway work will begin on the east section of the south footpath at the Union Street/Market Street corner.
